Shopping Hotspots: Little 5 Points

I've recently become obsessed with thrift stores, boutiques and yard sales but yard sales are mainly on Saturday's and your lucky if you find a good one, and most thrift stores look so run down and down right creepy you'd never guess there were used Juicy Couture sweaters or a sweet pair vintage boots waiting for you inside! So I've decided to roam around Georgia and find all the thrift stores you either never knew existed or were too scared to to go into and show whats inside!
Little Five Points is a shopping district in downtown Decatur where the eclectic, thrifty, Earthy elite gather to hear underground musicians rock out and little known actors bleed their hearts out in stage plays. It's a place where music lovers gather for used cds records and where the anime obsessed can get their memorabilia, manga and smart aleck T-shirts. It's for coffee drinkers, book lover's, Earthy poets and of course Fashionistas! Little Five points is probably my favorite place to shop and just hang these days. I'm sure on my journey through Georgia I'll discover other neat getaway spot's but Little Five Points takes the cake for now! Below are some pictures of Five points and some things you can expect to Find!
Directions: Moreland Ave NE AT Euclid Ave NE Atlanta,GA 30307 and If your a train rider like myself get off at Inman Park Reynolds Town on the blue line.

These pictures were taken in the best Thrift store in Little Five Points called Ragarama. Phone: 404-658-1988It's freaking huge and has just as much clothes for guys as they do girls!

This little boutique is called Psycho Sister's! It's like a
very messy closet! You can find jsut about anything in this
store but I'd advise you not go in there if your claustrophobic.

These next set of pictures were taken in a store called Junkman's Daughter. It's the most expensive of the stores I've shown but everything is so edgy and vintage I couldn't pass it up! They even sell Hello Kitty stuff and other cool gizmos and gadgets Even if you don't buy anything it's alot of fun!
Phone: 404-577-3188

Ok this isn't a thrift store but it's a major attraction in Little 5 Points.
It's a bar and grill called The Vortex. You may have seen it on the
Travel Channel! The food is good but I thought I was gonna be blown away.  I will say to try their sweet potato fries. They have great sauces too!

Just Me!

I decided awhile back to come up with a way to streatch my dollar and have found my solution.  Layering yes but I started to buy clothes that could be worn different ways as seen in some of the photos below.  It's really fun to come up with different ideas and to puzzle your friends and peers with your seemingly normal outfit.  Try it out!

I love these shorts! It feels and looks like skirt though! Snagged the shorts from my sisters closet (we trade clothes every so often) who got it from Forever 21 and the top and hat are from Charlotte Russe!
